Role: Shift Leader

The Shift Leader supports management in running the location, including but not limited to:

• Coaching staff for excellent customer service
• Producing high-quality food
• Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience
• Cash handling
• Following training programs
• Developing team members for growth
• Enforcing policies and procedures
• Participating in marketing initiatives
• Building sales
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
• Being certified in all four restaurant positions
• Effective communication
• Having a sense of urgency

Expectations for a Shift Leader

• Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance unless medically restricted
• Work 38-40 hours weekly
• Reliable transportation
• Communicate issues to management
• Lead by example in food quality, customer interaction, and appearance

Additional responsibilities include creating high-standard food, maintaining cleanliness, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer experiences, and managing a team of 2-5 people. Proficiency in slicing and baking bread is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: 1 year QSR experience
• Must be 18+ to operate slicer
• Serve Safe Food Handler Certification
• Reliable transportation
