Job title: Shift Leader

The Shift Leader is responsible for the profitability and overall operation of the restaurant, supporting the manager in charge and stepping in during their absence. The role involves leading the team to deliver a high guest experience, along with training and coaching employees.

Guest First Culture

It involves taking personal responsibility to provide the best guest service by delivering quality products, fast and friendly service, and maintaining a clean restaurant environment. Every team member should aim to make each guest’s day better, every day.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  1. Delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring all guest needs and requests are acknowledged and satisfied.
  2. Training and coaching team members to meet service standards.
  3. Maintaining food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
  4. Managing operational aspects such as inventory, equipment maintenance, and safety.
  5. Supporting team environment by fostering respect, enthusiasm, and recognition.
  6. Driving sales through product promotions and effective team deployment.
  7. Managing shift operations including staffing, cash handling, and cost controls.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in restaurant, retail, or supervisory roles
  • Basic computer skills
  • At least 18 years old
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math and financial skills
  • Availability to work all shifts
  • Ability to stand for 6+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs
