Summary

Shift Leaders are responsible for coaching Restaurant Team Members during their shift to ensure operational Brand standards are met and guest service is excellent. They set goals, assign tasks, and motivate team members by providing timely feedback.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
2. Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational goals and execution.
3. Ensure Brand standards are maintained throughout the shift, including food and beverage preparation.
4. Communicate shift priorities, goals, and results to team members.
5. Coach team members during the shift, offering constructive and clear feedback.
6. Assist in training restaurant team members as needed.
7. Oversee safety, security, and profitability policies/processes during the shift.
8. Coordinate with the next Shift Leader to ensure a smooth transition.
9. Ensure Food Safety standards are upheld.
10. Manage inventory during the shift.
11. Provide excellent guest service and coach team members to do the same.
12. Schedule team members for shifts.
13. Manage cash over/short during the shift and ensure adherence to cash management policies.
