Job description

As a Shift Leader at our Meatpacking store located at 304 W 14th St, New York NY 10014, you are the leader of our bakery during your shift. You will be responsible for predicting business flow, building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. Your leadership will contribute to a productive and enjoyable environment for the team and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide excellent customer service and quality products to guests.
2. Support store operations during your shift, including communication, monitoring production, and training team members.
3. Delegate tasks such as baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning, leading the Cookie Crew.
4. Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to food safety standards.
5. Manage cash handling and deposits.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills
• Outgoing, friendly, patient
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 or older
