About Nudy's Cafe:

Nudy's Cafe is a family-owned and operated business with 15 locations across Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. We focus on providing quick, reasonably priced, and freshly prepared meals in a family-friendly environment. We are expanding and looking for talented individuals to join our team.

Position: Shift Leader

We are actively recruiting for a full-time Shift Leader to help lead our locations. The role involves delivering a high-quality customer experience, managing staff, and ensuring efficient restaurant operations while maintaining our standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate daily restaurant operations.
2. Understand and deliver on the Customer Journey.
3. Provide superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
4. Respond promptly to customer concerns.
5. Review product quality regularly.
6. Organize and supervise shifts (experience with 7 Shifts system preferred).
7. Train and coach employees to ensure excellent service.
8. Represent Nudy's brand consistently.
9. Train new and current employees on customer service and schedules.
10. Take initiative, focus on people, and achieve results.
11. Conduct performance reviews.
12. Manage cash registers.
13. Ensure team compliance with regulations and policies.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 1 year of hospitality leadership experience.
2. Ability to lead, motivate, and coach teams.
3. Knowledge of food and ability to answer customer questions.
4. SERV Safe Certified or ability to obtain within 30 days.
5. Maintain Food Safety and Quality Line Checks with integrity.
6. Interpret restaurant data to improve operations.
7. Open availability required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move quickly through all parts of the restaurant.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to lift, stoop, bend, or twist repeatedly.
• Use hands to handle objects and tools.
• Lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
