The primary responsibility of the Shift Leader is to ensure hospitality excellence through managing, coaching, and delegating to employees to guarantee the timely delivery of top-quality food, friendly and welcoming behaviors, and maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Shift Leader Responsibilities
- Protects the restaurant's cash assets during each shift, including counting and verifying safe and cash drawer contents, completing bank deposit slips, and entering information into the safe log.
- Works with the General Manager and Assistant Managers to achieve maximum sales and profits while maintaining operational standards and procedures.
- Enforces all company policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with laws regarding wages, hours, and sanitation, and completes all required documentation.
- Collaborates with the management team to implement advertising and promotions, ensuring proper food preparation and presentation.
- Maintains strict safety and sanitation standards in the restaurant.
- Assists in training all employees.
- Supports the management team to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to uniform standards.
Job Skills
