Job summary

Workstream is seeking a Shift Leader for their Las Vegas location. In this role, you will supervise restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest service and coaching team members. You'll handle complaints, maintain inventory, and uphold brand standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of restaurant experience, can work flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and is dedicated to creating a positive dining experience. This position is essential for driving operational success in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• 1–2 years of previous restaurant experience.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

As a Shift Leader, you will supervise the operation of the restaurant on a shift‑by‑shift basis. You will assist the leadership team in providing support and coaching employees to ensure tasks are performed effectively, helping create legendary experiences for guests. You will lead your employees through performance, engagement, and training initiatives. This position operates under the direction of the Store Leader and directly manages a shift of employees. Summary Of Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Profitability

• Follows all cash control and security procedures (e.g. safe)
• Maintains inventory by performing daily and weekly inventory inspections
• Receives inventory truck orders

Guest

• Motivates and directs employees to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, and friendly service in clean surroundings
• Handles guest complaints effectively and in a timely manner

People

• Provides coaching and feedback to employees to increase the restaurant team’s capabilities and raise restaurant performance
• Sets an example for employees by working hard to implement shift plans and drive operational results
• Directs efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines
• Motivates employees during the shift at each workstation
• Reviews restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement
• Ensures that the restaurant upholds operational and brand standards
• Attends or participates in weekly operational meetings led by the Restaurant Leader
