Job summary

Bluemont Group, a Dunkin' franchisee in Knoxville, seeks a Shift Leader to manage the floor, set stations, and coach the crew during busy periods. You will ensure drinks and sandwiches go out right and keep the drive-thru moving.

Open environments operate from early morning to late evening; weekly pay and benefits accompany the role. ServSafe training is provided as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, retail or Dunkin' crew experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate others.
• Accurate cash handling and adherence to procedures.
• Calm and friendly demeanor during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Set the shift line: drive-thru, front counter, beverage and sandwich stations.
• Move staff where needed during rush hours.
• Coach crew in the moment and provide quick feedback.
• Fill in at any station during high volume and resolve guest issues on the spot.
• Follow cash, labor and food cost procedures for your shift.
• Run food safety checks and training for new crew members.
• Open, mid and closing shifts; hours vary by location.

Coach the Team & Run the Floor

You know the rush. Now you run it.

As a Dunkin' Shift Leader (Shift Supervisor) with Bluemont Group, a local Dunkin' franchisee, you're in charge of the floor for your shift. You set positions, keep the drive-thru moving, and coach the crew so every drink and sandwich goes out right. It's a great next step if you've been crew for a while, or if you've led a shift somewhere else and want a real path into management.

What you'll do

• Set the line for your shift: drive-thru headset, front counter, beverage and sandwich station
• Move people where they're needed as the rush builds and slows
• Coach crew in the moment: show the recipe, give quick feedback, call out great work
• Jump in on any station when the drive-thru backs up
• Fix guest issues on the spot: remake the drink, correct the order, keep it friendly
• Follow cash, labor and food cost procedures for your shift
• Run food safety and cleanliness checks, and earn your ServSafe® certification with us
• Help train new Crew Members and flag equipment issues to your manager
• Our restaurants are open as early as 4 a.m. and as late as 11 p.m. Hours vary by location and day.
• Opening, mid and closing shifts; early mornings and weekends are our busiest times
