Job summary

ALMG Hospitality's YUP DDUK IRVINE location is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise servers and ensure a memorable dining experience for guests in Irvine, CA.

You will enforce workflow, train staff, uphold QSC&V, coordinate with the team, and manage guest relations and to-go orders to maintain service standards throughout every shift.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in restaurant and/or hospitality management.
• California Food Handler Certification is required.
• Fluent in English and Korean, both oral and written is a huge plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

[Responsibilities]

1. Enforce, train, oversee, and regulate workflow

• Fair work distribution
• Train members for the designated positions
• Enforce QSC&V
• Oversee problems within all operations
• Managing customer relations
• Managing employee relations (Team building)
• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of ALMGHospitality.com/operations.
• Greet loudly and thank guests for their visit.
• Understand and explain all menu items and variations.
• Receive and input orders into POS system and receive payments.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied.
• Actively monitor all on-line orders for any special errors, follow protocol to report and claim credit.
• Bus tables by removing dishes and trash and set up for the next guest.
• Answering phone calls in polite manner for all to-go orders, complains and directions.
• Stock up or set up food stations and dining area.
• Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathroom.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement.
• Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

[Qualifications]

• 2 years of experience in restaurant and/or hospitality management
• California Food Handler Certification
• Fluent in English and Korean, both oral and written is a huge plus
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
