Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc. in Hillsborough Township, NJ is seeking a Shift Leader to coach Crew Members, assign tasks, and help deliver a great, guest-focused experience while upholding Brand standards.

You will drive guest satisfaction through coaching, resolve issues, ensure safety and sanitation compliance, and support sales goals and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for effective communication with team and guests.
• Experience in restaurant, retail, or supervisory roles is preferred.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old where applicable.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Job description

Shift Leaders are responsible for coaching Crew Members throughout their shift to execute operational Brand standards and deliver a great and friendly guest experience. They set goals, provide job assignments, and motivate others, celebrating successes and providing timely feedback.

SHIFT LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Environment:

• Support a respectful team environment
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results with team members
• Support the training of team members as requested
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members

Operational Excellence:

• Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant
• Resolve guest issues
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with local and state laws

Profitability:

• Drive sales goals and results
• Execute restaurant standards and marketing initiatives
• Manage cash over/short during shift
• Ensure all products are prepared according to Brand standards

SHIFT LEADER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent in English
• Restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience
• At least 18 years of age (where applicable)
• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
