Job summary

Grecian Gyro in Atlanta seeks a proactive Shift Leader to motivate a fast-paced team, model exceptional guest service, and consistently deliver memorable dining experiences that reflect our rich Greek legacy in this iconic Georgia hotspot.

You will lead by example on the floor, oversee order flow and the POS, uphold food safety and cleanliness, train and coach teammates, and collaborate with management to drive reliable, high-quality service across every shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler’s card and ServSafe certification or ability to obtain.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team while upholding Grecian Gyro’s values and service standards.
• Engage with guests, describe menu items, and accommodate dietary needs.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, accuracy, and presentation.
• Be hands-on with food prep, uphold hygiene standards, and keep the restaurant clean.
• Deliver results by taking orders, managing the POS, and ensuring smooth shifts.
• Support team growth through training certifications and leading by example.

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; prior food service experience preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities; thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility: Available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Physical Requirements: Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Certifications: Food Handler’s card and/or ServSafe certification required (or obtainable after hire).
