Job summary

Taziki's of Pelham Road LLC seeks a shift leader to deliver outstanding guest service and to help run daily operations. You will connect with guests, manage opening and closing tasks, and oversee the team when a manager isn't on duty.

You will master the menu, support kitchen stations, handle cash procedures, and ensure health and alcohol handling standards are followed during each shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, guest service, and verbal communication skills with guests/team members.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests and making meaningful connections with them.
• Opening & closing tasks.
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team when a manager isn't on duty.
• Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties.
• Mastering menu and product knowledge.
• Supporting or working stations when needed (including kitchen).
• Prepping food and doing side work.
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift.
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.

ALL EMPLOYEES MUST:

YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS/HOURS:

A typical workday at Taziki's may look like:

• Morning shift: 7am - 4pm
• Evening shift: 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends: when applicable
• Holidays: when applicable (CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas)

Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.
