Modern Market Eatery in Golden, CO is seeking experienced Shift Leaders to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting.

You will supervise staff, monitor food quality, manage opening/closing procedures, and coordinate breaks across all stations. The role requires strong communication and multitasking abilities, with benefits including health coverage, PTO, holidays, a 401k, and free meals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience required.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor our food and food quality.
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day.
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time.
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed.

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.
• This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
