Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Shift Leader for Modern Market Eatery. You will oversee daily operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and manage opening/closing procedures in a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, monitoring food quality, coordinating breaks, and directing staff across stations. Successful candidates will have prior shift-leader experience and strong communication skills with food-handling and alcohol-service

Qualifications

• 6+ months of restaurant shift leader experience required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant cleanliness and delegate side work tasks.
• Monitor food quality and standards.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as manager on shift.
• Run the shift and manage breaks for staff.
• Work all stations and adapt to needs across the floor.
• Assist the Manager with other duties as needed.

We love food and we love providing an excellent guest experience to each person that walks through our door. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Shift Leaders to join our team.

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
• Continually monitor our food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.
• This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
