Penn Station Sandwiches in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring friendly guest service and adherence to standards. The role involves opening, mid-shift, and closing duties, leading a team, and maintaining food safety and cleanliness.

You will develop skills in leadership, customer service and operations in a fast-paced environment while delivering a great guest experience.

Competenze

• Must be team oriented, friendly and honest with strong customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum age 17 years old.

Mansioni

• Serve guests by taking orders and handling cash/credit with courtesy.
• Deliver meals to tables or designated pickup area while maintaining excellent service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, dining room, parking lot and restrooms.
• Stock inventory as needed during shifts.
• Lead and coach team members to uphold hospitality and service standards.
• Train and reinforce policies to create a positive work environment.

We have an opening for a Shift Leader position. The work schedule for this position could include a combination of opening, mid-shift, and closing. Requirements

• Reliable transportation is required

• Be at least 17 years old

Responsibilities

• Serving guests by taking orders, handling cash and credit cards, by offering an immediate and respectful response to all guest's needs.
• Delivering meals to guests at their table or to a designated pick up area, and providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of your work area and the dining room, parking lot, and restrooms.
• Stock as needed to maintain inventory throughout your shift.
• Effectively manage and lead a team of people serving our guests while maintaining our operating standards to provide the best hospitality and guest experience.
• Coaching, teaching and training team members on policies and procedures and creating a positive work environment for everyone.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
• Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder
