Job summary

Modern Market Eatery in Englewood, CO is seeking a hands-on Shift Leader to help run shifts smoothly, uphold guest service standards, and thrive in our fast-paced open-kitchen environment. You will supervise opening and closing, monitor food quality, delegate side work, ensure breaks, coordinate staff, and support the manager as needed.

Minimum 6 months of shift-leader experience, exceptional communication, and training in food handling or alcohol service are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
• Continually monitor our food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.
• This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
