As a Shift Leader at our Columbus Short North store located at 749 N. High St, Columbus OH 43215, you are the captain of our bakery day or night! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” by predicting the flow of business during a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership style should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. It will also mean taking pride in knowing that your leadership as an Insomniac contributes to a productive and fun night for your store!

What Will I Do as a Shift Leader?

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests
• Support store operations during your shift, communicate pertinent information, monitor production efficiency, and assist in training and coaching team members
• Prioritize and delegate tasks such as baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the Cookie Crew
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to food safety practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

Desired Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role
• Point of Sale systems experience
• Strong communication, time management, and people skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient demeanor
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in the US
• Must be 18 or older
