Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing, late-night, sweet indulgence companies in the country, and we are actively interviewing Shift Leaders for our new Schenectady, NY location at 118 Jay St, Schenectady, NY 12305.

As a Shift Leader with Insomnia Cookies, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” by predicting the flow of business. Your hands-on leadership includes building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and customer interaction. You will also take pride in knowing that your leadership contributes to a productive and fun night for your store!

What Will I Do as a Shift Leader?

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products
• Support store operations, communicate information, monitor efficiency, and train team members
• Prioritize and delegate tasks such as baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to food safety standards
• Manage cash handling and deposits

Desired Skills/Experience:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Point of Sale systems experience
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient demeanor
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Leadership by example and motivating others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 or older
