Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Shift Lead in Opelika, AL to supervise a team on the 1st shift, ensuring safety and productivity. You will work with the On-Site Manager to schedule, recruit, and develop staff while upholding HR policies and safety standards.

The role supports forklift operations, loads and unloads materials, and maintains accurate records. Minimum HS diploma and forklift cert required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation
• Forklift certification
• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with the On-Site Manager to set shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
