Job summary

Banfield is seeking a Shift Lead to perform duties of a CSC and veterinary assistant/technician while providing continuity and on-site leadership across shifts. You will coordinate paraprofessional staff and support hospital leadership to maximize productivity and profitability, ensuring effective communication with clients and teams.

The role reports to Practice Manager/COS and works closely with Banfield leadership and PetSmart partners to maintain high standards of care and service.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a CSC and/or veterinary assistant/technician.
• Provide continuity and operational support across all shifts with leadership onsite.
• Coordinate and guide paraprofessional staff and support hospital leadership in maximizing productivity and profitability.
• Assist in communicating with clients, associates, Field Leadership, Central Team Support, and PetSmart.
