Job summary

The Emery Oleochemicals Group seeks an on-shift SE Operator Lead in Cincinnati, OH to oversee operations in the Specialty Esters department. This role leads, trains, and provides technical guidance to on-shift personnel while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Has successfully completed qualification requirements for an Operator IV position.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate proven leadership capability and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Be able to read and interpret P&IDs.
• Demonstrate strong training and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to on-shift personnel.
• Train and mentor future operators.
• Ensure alignment with production schedules and process area metrics.
• Conduct weekly Safety Dialog talks.
• Guide non-daylight and weekend maintenance trades.
• Ensure maintenance requests are properly entered into SAP.
