Job summary

Qdoba in United States is seeking a team-oriented shift leader to train and coach crew members, assign shift tasks, and ensure accurate guest orders. You will enforce food safety, maintain cleanliness, and uphold brand standards during peak hours while delivering excellent service.

Requirements include 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, English fluency, and basic reading/writing/math/POS skills. Availability for weekends/holidays and reliable transportation are necessary.

Qualifications

• Age Required: 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous restaurant kitchen experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English is required; Spanish comprehension is helpful.
• Fundamental reading, writing, math and computer / Point of sales skills are required.
• Must have adequate and reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, sometimes extending beyond eight hours, based upon local operating hours.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop, and coach team members during your assigned shift.
• Assign activities and tasks during shift and set shift goals.
• Interact with guests and team members with respect and recognition.
• Create guest orders and ensure accuracy on the service line.
• Uphold food safety and brand standards; maintain restaurant cleanliness and inventory.
• Report questionable food deliveries and practices.
• Showcase menu items and maintain operational efficiency during peak hours.
• Maintain brand image and ensure excellent guest service.
