Job summary

Save-A-Lot, Ltd. is seeking a Shift Lead at Store 30153 in Hubbard, OH. The role directs daily store activities in the absence of store management, opens/closes the store, protects assets, and maintains conditions for safety, sanitation and customer service.

You will supervise team members across departments and handle front-end duties as needed. The Shift Lead ensures adherence to company policies, resolves customer issues, and supports the management team to maintain efficient store operations

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in basic math skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Language proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
• Must be dependable and flexible.
• Ability to travel to multiple work locations.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Must adhere to uniform dress code.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to established procedures.
• Directs and monitors day-to-day activities of store team members in all departments.
• Communicates with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Resolves customer complaints, including exchanges and refunds.
• Documents complaints and follows up to correct the source of the complaint.
• Performs cashier and stocking duties when necessary.
• Escalates employee issues to Store Manager or District Manager.
• Responds to vendors and assists with deliveries.
• Ensures health and safety compliance and store sanitation.
