Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Shift Lead to direct daily store activities, manage cash, and ensure top-tier customer service in Milwaukee. You will open/close stores, supervise team members, resolve customer issues, and support health, safety, and sanitation programs.

Ideal candidates provide strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to train others. English fluency and dependable work history are important; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong customer service and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient in basic math; read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to train others and provide direction during shifts.
  • Ability to travel to multiple work locations.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the store according to established procedures.
  • Direct and monitor day-to-day activities of full time/part time store team members in all departments.
  • Communicate with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Resolve customer complaints, including exchanges and refunds.
  • Document complaints and take follow-up steps to correct the source of the complaint.
  • Conduct front end administrative procedures, including cash counting, till preparation, cash drops, cash pick-ups, verification of cash tills, and sale of/return of gift cards.
  • Complete electronic store reports and report results to Store Manager.
  • Perform cashier and stocking duties when necessary.
  • Escalate employee issues to Store Manager or District Manager.
  • Respond to vendors and manage deliveries.
  • Stock inventory across departments and check dates on perishables.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance in the store.
  • Handle emergency management and evacuation procedures.
  • Protect property, funds and merchandise; follow loss prevention procedures.
  • Maintain store sanitation and cleanliness during shifts.
  • Serve as first contact for media and regulatory visitors; refer to Store Manager.
  • May participate in panel interviewing; no hiring decisions authority.
  • Perform other duties including cross-department work.
