Job summary

CVS Health in Arlington, VA is seeking a part-time Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team, drive store execution, and promote CVS customer service.

When no manager is onsite, you lead the store staff, ensure opening and closing procedures are completed, and maintain a safe, welcoming shopping environment for customers.

This role is 20 hours per week with a pay range of $17.00 to $26.00 per hour, and eligibility for a range of benefits based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise
• Experience as a retail supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff in the manager's absence to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with store management and crews; supervise daily activities.
• Supervise crew, assign tasks and follow up on outcomes.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve questions or complaints.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves; manage displays and inventories.
• Reset departments to align with current POGs.
