Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc is hiring for part-time Shift Leads at Alabama locations. You will deliver prompt, courteous customer service, assist with purchases and fuel transactions, and help manage store operations to meet performance goals.

Requirements include 18+/19+ depending on state, high school diploma or GED, at least 3 months of cashier experience, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for shifts. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience.
• Must have valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns.
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals.
• Performing job related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork and inventory tasks.
