Job summary

Take 5 Car Wash is seeking a Shift Lead to stand in for site leadership when the Site Leader is not on site. You will lead the crew, ensure safety, manage customer flow, and maintain a clean, efficient lot.

This is a fast, physical, outdoor role where ownership and example-setting matter. Greet customers, guide vehicles into the wash, monitor equipment, resolve issues, open/close operations as a key holder, and deliver a consistently high-quality wash experience.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership or team experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a positive, friendly experience.
• Answer customer questions about services and memberships clearly.
• Promote unlimited wash memberships and other offerings to drive engagement and sales.
• Educate customers on wash packages and services.
• Direct vehicles safely into the wash tunnel and ensure proper positioning.
• Prepare vehicles for washing and remove obstacles as needed.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions.
• Follow and enforce all safety protocols.
• Open and close the site as a key holder and lead the team during shifts.
• Inspect each vehicle for quality and uphold Sparkle Assurance.
• Provide feedback to team members to maintain wash quality.
• Seek continuous improvements to exceed customer expectations.
