Job summary

Take 5 Car Wash is seeking a Shift Lead to ensure each shift runs smoothly by supporting the team and delivering a great customer experience. You’ll engage with customers, assist with daily operations, uphold site standards, and lead the team when management is not on-site to ensure staff and customers are assisted.

This role is physically active and outdoors, requiring a proactive leader who can manage tasks, mentor teammates, and respond quickly to issues to keep the site running efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be physically active and comfortable working outdoors.
• Prior leadership or team experience is a plus.
• Lead by example and maintain high standards on shift.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers and explain services, upsell memberships and offerings.
• Operations & Safety: Direct vehicles, prepare wash readiness, monitor equipment, enforce safety.
• Team Leadership: Open/close procedures, lead shifts in absence of leaders, delegate tasks.
• Attention to Detail: Inspect vehicles for quality and report issues to maintain standards.
