CHEP is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Bolingbrook, IL. You will operate a sit-down forklift to move pallets and materials throughout the plant, assist with loading/unloading and ensure safety protocols are followed. Routine forklift maintenance and container sanitization are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Two years of sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of safety rules and procedures for forklift operations.
• Forklift certification/license is preferred.
• High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to move containers up to 50 lbs during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move pallets and materials around the plant.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers as required.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE; report hazards promptly.
• Perform routine forklift maintenance and help sanitize containers.
