Job summary

Avery Dennison Indiana is seeking a Production Leader to drive safety, quality and productivity across the shift while improving processes and reducing costs.

You will coach a diverse team, lead Lean Sigma initiatives, enforce SOPs and standard work, and partner with support teams to sustain manufacturing excellence and employee development. This role demands hands-on leadership, strong communication, and commitment to Avery Dennison values.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 3+ years leadership, process improvement and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, support and develop a diverse team.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations systems, processes and technology.
• Able to troubleshoot and implement solutions to prevent recurring problems.

Responsibilities

• SAFETY: Enforce Environmental, Health and Safety policies and lead safety training and incident investigations.
• LEADERSHIP: Provide shift leadership, motivate teams to meet safety, service, quality, productivity, cost and inventory goals.
• OPERATIONS AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS: Initiate and support process improvements to boost safety, engagement, quality and productivity.
• MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE: Ensure SOPs, standard work, quality standards, audits and lean problem solving.
• EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT: Coach and conduct performance reviews; collaborate with cross-functional teams on improved processes.
