Job summary

PFNonwovens in Hazleton, PA is seeking a Shift Lead to provide maintenance leadership for the facility. This role will guide shift mechanics, prioritize trouble calls, and assign tasks to technicians while tracking line performance metrics relevant to maintenance improvements.

The successful candidate will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, collaborate with all plant departments, and drive safety, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across shifts.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years technical/maintenance experience in process manufacturing (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in demanding environments.
• Strong knowledge of plant equipment and processes.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Able to perform duties without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift maintenance activities and prioritize work orders.
• Act as primary contact for shift maintenance calls.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to shift technicians.
• Lead safety compliance and incident response.
• Maintain documentation and shift reports.
• Conduct daily shift turnover and training sessions.
• Foster productive team relationships.
• Collaborate with plant departments and stakeholders.
