Greenleaf Hospitality Group is hiring a Shift Lead for the Starbucks inside the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo. You will lead the floor, set service standards, and empower a passionate team in a high-volume café environment.

You will deploy baristas, manage flow during peak times, train new associates, and uphold beverage quality, food safety, cleanliness, and store sanitation. Join a team that values initiative, fast service, and connections with guests and regulars.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or lead experience in hospitality or retail.
• Strong communication and team management skills.
• Ability to stay composed under busy, high-volume conditions.
• Standing for long periods and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Run smooth, efficient shifts by deploying team members and managing floor flow.
• Lead and train associates, mentor new hires, and onboard staff.
• Promote fast, friendly service and build connections with guests and regulars.
• Oversee opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures with accurate checklists and cash handling.
• Ensure beverage quality, food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory and visual merch.
