Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to lead by example and provide clear direction.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical duties in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful restaurant shifts from start to finish.
• Provide direction and support to team members.
• Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Maintain Firehouse Subs standards for food quality, preparation, portioning, and presentation.
• Assign positions and deploy team members based on business needs.
• Monitor speed of service and make adjustments to keep operations running efficiently.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, temperature control, and food safety procedures are followed.
• Complete required food safety and temperature logs accurately and on time.
• Immediately address and communicate any food safety concerns.
• Support proper opening, closing, and shift-change procedures.
• Assist with cash handling, register procedures, deposits, and other assigned financial controls.
• Monitor product levels and help ensure proper stocking, rotation, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant for guests and employees.
• Coach team members in the moment and reinforce company policies and operating standards.
• Help train and develop new and existing team members.
• Communicate equipment, maintenance, staffing, food safety, and operational concerns to restaurant management.
• Assist restaurant management with controlling food waste and labor during assigned shifts.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and work to resolve issues quickly.
• Help create a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace.
• Perform team member duties and work restaurant stations as needed.
