Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring part-time Shift Leads at our Denison, IA location. You will deliver prompt customer service, assist with purchases and fuel transactions, operate the register, and help the team meet store goals. The position offers daily pay access, comprehensive health benefits, and education assistance for career advancement.

Ideal candidates have cashier experience, a high school diploma or GED, and reliable transportation. Must be 18+ (or 19+ in IN, etc.).

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or at least 6 months of related job experience.
Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience.
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns
Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions
Operating cash register
Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
Maintaining a clean and safe environment
Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives
Performing job related duties as assigned
In the absence of management provide backup duties including completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees
