Job summary

Donatos is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee quality and service in the restaurant. You will coach associates to deliver top-tier meals and friendly service, and may open/close in the absence of a salaried manager, handling administrative tasks and safeguarding staff and assets.

You will train new associates, ensure accurate orders, and manage shift plans, labor, and food cost while enforcing safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Willing to perform essential functions safely while meeting productivity standards.
• Able to stand and/or walk during the shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• 1 year of Shift Lead or Manager or Donatos equivalent experience.
• Completion of Donatos MIT Program and related certifications.
• Able to complete the Shift Manager readiness checklist.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train associates to deliver Donatos service and quality.
• Open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager and handle admin tasks.
• Ensure orders are accurate and meet promised times.
• Manage shift plans, labor, and food costs; adjust staffing as needed.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Uphold Donatos service behaviors and company policies.
