Job summary

Cup of Joe Cafes, LLC is seeking a Shift Lead for its Starbucks-licensed store on the Baptist Hospital Campus in Pensacola, FL. You will lead the floor, ensure guest satisfaction, and guide the team through high-volume shifts on a hospital campus.

You will open/close, manage cash, coach baristas on drink quality, and adjust staffing as volume shifts. Starbucks experience helps, but attitude and leadership are key.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role in food service, retail, or hospitality.
• Lead by example and maintain calm under rush conditions.
• Be warm with guests and partners; strong hospitality attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and setting a positive tone for the team.
• Comfort with POS systems, scheduling tools, and daily reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift from the floor—direct workflow and support baristas.
• Open or close the store, including cash handling and end-of-day reporting.
• Coach the team on drink craft and brand standards in real time.
• Manage shift staffing and adjust roles as volume changes.
• Address guest concerns with confidence and care to foster return visits.
• Complete daily tasks: inventory, cleaning, stocking to keep the store guest-ready.
• Train and support new team members and maintain shift notes with the Store Manager.
