Job summary

Five Guys Operations LLC is seeking a Shift Leader in Greenfield, WI to lead daily operations. You’ll work hands-on across roles, ensure fast, accurate service, and uphold brand standards while guiding and motivating the team.

You’ll train new staff, manage shift tasks, and maintain a safe, clean dining area. Growth opportunities exist as you demonstrate leadership and guest‑focused excellence.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant/retail/hospitality experience (leadership preferred)
• Team-first mindset with strong communication skills
• Leads by doing, not just directing
• Keeps cool and makes quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site
• Work across roles: cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room
• Deliver fast, accurate service and guest experiences
• Coach and motivate crew members to perform at their best
• Help train new team members and build a positive culture
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and brand standards
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling and closing reports
