Job summary

Five Guys in Oklahoma City is seeking a Shift Leader to run shifts, lead by example, and set the tone for daily operations. You’ll work side‑by‑side with the crew to ensure every guest walks out impressed.

This role covers every position—from cashier to grill and dining room—and requires a calm, team‑first leader with good math and POS skills. Pay starts at $16.00/hour plus tips and bonus in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• A team‑first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Someone who leads by doing—not just directing.
• Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
