Job summary

LPQ USA LLC in Thousand Oaks is hiring team members to deliver warm, attentive service in a fast-paced, pastry and cafe environment. You will take orders, enter them into the POS, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 months restaurant experience, familiarity with POS systems (Toast is a plus), and the ability to work a flexible schedule. We offer health benefits, PTO, a 401(k) match, commuter benefits, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, Toast is a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive orders, enter into the POS, and coordinate with the kitchen as necessary.
• Anticipate guest needs and note any preferences provided by the guest.
• Maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures; daily checklist and side work.
• Keep all areas of the restaurant clean and organized by following cleaning checklists.
