Job summary

Food People Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Key Hourly for our new TakoSushi in Spartanburg, SC. You will lead daily operations during your shift, stepping into service or bartending as needed, and report to the General Manager.

You will manage duties, uphold standards, and maintain guest satisfaction while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and accurate shift reporting. A leadership mindset and flexible hours are essential to thrive in this fast-paced restaurant.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience required.
• Prior leadership or shift lead experience preferred.
• ServSafe Manager Certification preferred.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts and lead the team through service.
• Support daily operations and ensure opening, shift change, and closing procedures are completed accurately.
• Uphold company standards for service, quality, safety, and cleanliness.
• Deliver a strong guest experience through floor presence, table visits, and prompt resolution of concerns.
• Communicate clearly with staff and management to maintain smooth operations.
• Delegate tasks and adjust staff positioning as needed to support service flow.
• Ensure proper cash handling, drawer counts, and shift reporting procedures are followed.
• Monitor FOH cleanliness, bar standards, and overall presentation.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, alcohol service, and company policies.
• Assist with training support and pre-shift huddles
