Job summary

Peet’s Coffee in Michigan is seeking a Shift Lead to manage daily shift operations, serve customers with genuine engagement, and uphold quality standards. You will lead a small team, handle cash and POS tasks, and maintain a clean, welcoming coffeebar environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role and/or directing the work of others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling responsibilities.
• Shift Leads must be available a minimum of three days a week to meet business needs.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity, managing tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through engagement, craft, quality, and friendly service.
• Support a positive team environment through clear communication and accountability.
• Open/close routines, cash handling, inventory tasks and visual updates during shifts.
• Adapt to changing priorities and solve problems to keep shifts running smoothly.
