Job summary

Peet’s Coffee, Inc. is seeking a Shift Lead to drive smooth store operations, open/close routines, cash handling, and inventory tasks while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

You’ll lead a fast-paced team, model professional behavior, and adapt to changing priorities to keep shifts running smoothly; a flexible, part-time schedule is available with competitive hourly pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role or directing others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling responsibilities.
• Availability of a minimum of three days a week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country where this job is located.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to comply with employment policies regarding minors.
• Perform various physical tasks during the work shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus on task deployment and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by modeling genuine engagement and high product quality.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming coffeebar and foster a positive team environment.
• Execute opening/closing routines, cash handling, inventory tasks, and visual updates during shifts.
• Adapt to changing priorities and use problem-solving to keep shifts running smoothly.
