Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is hiring a Shift Lead to guide daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will manage opening/closing tasks, cash handling, inventory updates and maintain a welcoming coffeebar.

The role requires leadership experience, flexibility on schedules, and compliance with employment policies. Paired with benefits, this position offers growth within a beloved coffee brand.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role or directing others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling in related industry.
• Shift Leads must be available a minimum of three days per week.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must comply with Peet’s policy on working with minors.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity, deploy tasks and maintain smooth daily operations.
• Deliver friendly, high-quality service and a clean, welcoming coffeebar environment.
• Communicate clearly, collaborate effectively and model accountability.
• Perform opening/closing routines, cash handling and inventory tasks.
• Adapt to changing priorities and solve problems to keep shifts running smoothly.
