Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Able to follow policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives.
• May oversee junior staff and audit work for accuracy.
• Basic tech knowledge incl. computers and software like MS Office and MAC word processing.
• Strong oral and written communication across departments.
• Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and priorities.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds; occasional heavier lifting.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees; audit processes to confirm production specifications.
• Maintain relationships; direct employees to the appropriate manager for policy questions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards; report problems to management.
• Inspect products/shipments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Review and approve production samples and shipments as necessary.
• Assist management with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain records; compile reports; file and tabulate routine clerical tasks.
• Attend production meetings and coordinate with other departments.
• Coordinate or train new employees, contract workers, and guests on safety and quality requirements.
