Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services is seeking a Supervisor for our East Chicago, IN facility to lead a shift in Area 3. You will oversee daily operational activities and a team in a fast-paced industrial environment, ensuring safe and efficient production.

Responsibilities include supervising the production crew, coordinating tasks, handling containers and drums, inspecting equipment, and enforcing RCRA and safety policies while training new staff and maintaining workflow quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of industry experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience is a plus.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside production crew in Area 3 to ensure safe operations.
• Coordinate production tasks and workflow during the shift.
• Process and handle empty containers, shred drums, pump liquids, consolidate drums, verify vapor recovery systems.
• Load and unload trailers, replace spent carbon, conduct daily inspections, monitor area activities.
• Ensure compliance with RCRA regulations and enforce health and safety policies.
• Train new employees and assist proper receiving, processing, and storage of containers.
• Inspect equipment and instruments to ensure proper function and maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
