Job summary

Tellus Products, LLC is seeking a full-time Production Shift Lead to supervise operations across Fiber, Molding and Packaging. The role covers for the Shift Supervisor as needed and ensures daily duties are completed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and strong communication skills. The job demands physical stamina and flexibility for weekend shifts and long hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in Fiber and/or Molding roles.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift Certified.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be flexible, reliable and well organized.
• Good verbal, reading, writing and basic math skills.
• Physically able to work varied positions and lift 25–60 lbs.
• Able to stand/walk up to 11 hours per shift; stairs 3 steps.
• Ability to work Saturdays, Sundays and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards are met and upheld.
• Cover for Shift Supervisor when needed.
• Complete and send out all shift-related reports.
• Motivate, lead and manage the team; ensure duties are performed.
• Report major discrepancies to management.
• Monitor attendance, tardiness, breaks and time off.
• Understand Fiber, Molding, and Packaging processes and troubleshoot.
• Follow good manufacturing practices and meet standards.
• Wear PPE and identify hazards; follow safety rules.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
