Job summary

Qualifications

• Good verbal, reading, writing and basic math skills.
• Physically able to work in various positions, including sitting, walking, climbing, kneeling, lifting, reaching and pulling.
• Must be able to frequently lift 25 to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 11 hours per shift.
• Must be able to walk upstairs a minimum of 3 steps.
• Flexible to work Saturdays, Sundays and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, lead and manage your team and ensure all duties are performed accurately.
• Report any major discrepancies to management including process, safety or personnel related.
• Help Shift Supervisor with monitoring all attendance, tardiness, breaks and time off.
• Understand the entire Fiber, Molding and Packaging process and troubleshoot as necessary.
• Utilize good manufacturing practices and ensure work is complete to required standard.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and identify hazards that may arise.
• Follow all health and safety rules and regulations.
• Any other tasks required from time to time may be assigned.

OVERVIEW

Our manufacturing company needs a full-time Production Shift Lead who is responsible for assisting in supervising all operations including Fiber, Molding and Packaging. He/She must be able to cover for the Shift Supervisor position when needed. The Production Shift Lead must also verify that the team is performing all daily duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
