Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc is hiring a part-time Shift Lead in Gulfport, MS to deliver prompt, courteous customer service and support store operations. You will assist customers with purchases, operate the cash register, and help the Store Manager meet daily goals.

The role requires at least 6 months of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll join a team-focused environment with opportunities for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18+ years of age (N/A state-specific age rules apply).
• Able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customer's requests and concerns.
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment; support Store Manager in operations.
• Help lead the team to exceed store performance goals.
