Job summary

Five Guys in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily operations and set the tone on every shift. You'll work alongside a hands-on team to ensure quality and guest satisfaction.

You’ll cover cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room roles, lead by example, coach teammates, train new hires, and uphold safety and brand standards in a fast-paced kitchen. Growth opportunities exist toward higher leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in restaurant leadership or supervision.
• Strong communication and team leadership.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash handling.
• Knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management is off-site.
• Fill in as cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room.
• Ensure fast, accurate service and guest satisfaction.
• Coach and motivate crew.
• Train new team members and foster positive culture.
• Maintain cleanliness and brand standards.
• Manage breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
