Jacksons Food Stores in Tigard, OR is hiring a Shift Lead / Head Cashier to oversee daily operations on assigned shifts. You will lead by example, mentor team members, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior supervisory experience in retail or foodservice is preferred.
• Strong customer service focus and friendly, can-do attitude are required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Lead by example with integrity and motivate the team.
• Must be a team player and able to adapt quickly to change.
• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol/tobacco).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries during shifts.
• Perform cashier duties: ring up sales, apply promotions, ensure accuracy.
• Provide fast, friendly service and promote store products and services.
• Maintain store cleanliness across sales floor, coolers, pumps, and foodservice areas.
• Stock, rotate, and label shelves and displays; manage food service programs.
• Assist with scheduling changes and communicate updates to the Store Manager.
• Coach and motivate team members in partnership with store leadership.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
